National Institute of Technology Hamirpur invited applications from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Project Associate for the research project on “Portable Physiological Data Acquisition and disease Diagnosis System” at NIT Hamirpur sponsored /funded by H.P. Council for Science, Technology and Environment (HIMCOSTE), Shimla.

Educational Qualification :

B.Tech/B.E. (EE/EEE/ECE/ Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/Biomedical Engineering) with 60% marks or CGPI 6.5 candidates having knowledge of microcontrollers or having undertaken their B.Tech project or M.Tech theses in the area of Signal processing will be preferred. Relaxation as per GOI wherever applicable.

Salary :

Rs. 15,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Age Limit :

Not more than 35 years as on last date of receipt of applications. Upper age limit will be relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/Persons with Disabilityb(PWD) candidates and 3 years for OBC-Non-creamy layer candidates.

Nature of Appointment :

The post is purely on contract basis with no other benefits associated with it.

Project Duration :

Three months, the extended duration duration of the project (The manpower sanctioned in the project is co-terminus with the duration of the project)
