Himachal Pradesh University Shimla invited applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Project Associate in the research project entitled “Synthesis and characterization of cathode materials in Li-ion and Na-ion batteries for more energy efficient systems” financially supported by the H.P. Council for Science, Technology & Environment (HIMCOSTE), Shimla-171001 purely on remuneration- basis in the Department of Physics, H.P. University Shimla-171005 initially for a period of one year or extendable up to the completion of the project as per details given as under:

Qualification and Experience:	M.Sc. in Physics having good academic record with at least 55% marks in or an equivalent of 55%, wherever the grading system is followed in Master Degree level. In addition to minimum qualification, NET/SET qualified candidates and having the knowledge of the battery materials, its components and designing will be preferred.
Remuneration	Rs. 20,000/- per month (fixed)
Nature of Engagement	The post is purely on remuneration basis and no other benefits associated with it.

The list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed on the webpage of Department of Physics, H.P. University Shimla website. No separate letter will be issued to the shortlisted candidates for appearing in further screening and selection process. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the screening cum selection process.
