Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission Shimla invited online Recruitment Applications (ORA*) from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to 01 (Unreserved) post of Assistant Professor (Dermatology), Class-I (Gazetted) (on regular basis) in the Department of Dermatology at IGMC Shimla.

Educational Qualification :

i) A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act 2019. Holders of Educational Qualification included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section-13 of Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, now National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
ii) A postgraduate degrees in the concerned speciality as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or its equivalent qualifications.
iii) At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Registrar/Demonstrators/Resident after doing post- graduation in the concerned speciality in any recognized Medical College.
M.D. (Dermatology and Venereology), MD (Medicine) with D.V.D.

Desirable Qualification :

(i) Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh. (ii) Publication of research papers in Index Journals.

Age Limit :

Between 18 to 45 years.
Provided that the upper age limit is relaxable by five years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward Classes / Persons with disabilities and Children/Grand Children of Freedom Fighters of HimachalPradesh as declared by the Govt. from time to time. The age relaxation for these categories shall be admissible only if there is a post reserved for these categories. Age of a candidate shall be reckoned as on 01-01-2023.

Salary :

Pay Band Level -30 (Rs.129700 -214300)
