The HP State Co-operative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank Ltd. invited applications on prescribed format from eligible candidates for the recruitment to the post of Driver on contract basis. Essential Qualification :

(1) Should be a matriculate from recognized Board of School Education/Institution.

Provided that the candidate should have passed Matriculation from any school/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. This condition shall however, not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

(ii) (iii) Must possess valid driving licence for plying of heavy/light vehicles in Hilly terrain. Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the area of Jurisdiction of the Bank.

Age limit:

Between 18 to 45 years as on 30.09.2023.

Application Fee:

The candidate shall send a Bank Draft/IPO of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of the HP State Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank Ltd. Kasumpti, Shimla-9 on account of application fee OR they may remit the said fee through online payment mode directly in fee collection A/C No. 05650200000300 (IFSC: UCBA0000565) (Please Note that application fee is not refundable) and the last date for deposition of fee will be 20.10.023 by 5:00 PM and fees deposited after that will not be entertained.

How To Apply :

The applications must reach the Head Office by 20.10.2023 positively and no application shall be accepted after this date. The applications found incomplete or received after this date shall not be entertained.

The application should be addressed to The General Manager, The HP State Cooperative Agriculture & Rural Development Bank Ltd. Block No.3-D,Kasumpti Shimla-171009 and super scribed with “Application for the post of Driver” on the top of the envelope containing application.

“Selection for appointment to the post of Driver on contract appointment shall be on the basis of Driving /skill test of 85 marks. The committee to conduct the driving test/skill test shall be headed by senior most officer of the Bank and invariably include two technical personnel out of Assistant Engineer (HPPWD-Mechanical Wing), Work Manager/ Driving Instructor/Foreman of HRTC and Motor Vehicle Inspector”.
