HP State Agriculture Marketing Board invited application from the desirous candidates on prescribed proforma for filling up 03 posts of Class IV Peon-cum-Chowkidar) on daily wage basis.

Educational Qualification :

Candidates Should have passed Matric Examination or its equivalent from recognised Board of School Education/Institution.
Desirable qualification: Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age Limit :

18 to 45 years as on 1st January, 2021. However upper age limit is relaxable for the categories of persons to the extent permissible under the general or special order (s) of HP Government.

Selection Procedure :

(A) Merit of minimum educational Qualification = 85 Marks.

(Merit of minimum educational qualification, in term of the R&P Rules shallbe calculated as under :-

(Percentage of marks obtained in 10th standard will be calculated out of 85% marks .For example a candidate getting 50% marks in the Matric standard will be given. (42.5 marks)

(B) Evaluation of candidates to be made in the following manner =15 Marks

  1. Certified copy of belonging to notified backward area or Panchayat, as the case may be. = 01 Marks
  2. Land less family/ family having land less than 1 hectare to be certified by concerned Revenue Authority. : 02 Marks
  3. Non-Employee Certificate to the effect that none of the family members is in Govt./Semi Govt. Service. : 2.5 Marks.
  4. Differently abled persons with more 40% impairement/disability/infirmity. : 01 Marks.
  5. NSS Certificate holders in NCC/ The Bharat Scout and Guide/ Medal winner in National level Sports competitions. : 01 Marks.
  6. BPL family having annual income below Rs. 40,000/- : 2.5 Marks
  7. Widow/divorced/destitute/ Orphan. : 1.5 Marks
  8. Single daughter/Orphan. : 01 Marks
  9. Experience upto a maximum of 5 years in Govt/semi Govt organization relating to the post for (0.5 marks only for each completed year) : 2.5 marks.
