Syllabus for HP Police Constable Exam
Written examination will be of TWO hour duration having 90 marks consisting of 90 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with negative marking for incorrect/wrong answers The question
paper will be bilingual i.e. English & Hindi

Final Merit List of HP Police Constable :
The final merit list shall be made on the basis of the marks of written examination, PSTHeight marks and evaluation- NCC Certificate marks, based on the following parameters:

Physical Standard Test ( PST):
Physical Standard Test will be conducted by Himachal Pradesh Police Department. All measurements will be taken by a Medical Officer which shall be recorded in the candidates’ Sheet and signed by the Medical Officer as per Standard Operating Procedure issued for Physical Standard Test by the DGP. The marks shall be awarded only for height as per the following table:

Document Verification:
The Police Department after receipt of lists containing zone of consideration of candidates provided by the Commission will carry out the document verification of such candidates falling in the zone of consideration, on the scheduled days, to verify their eligibility as per claims made by them in their online applications. Police Department will award marks for NCC Certificates duly issued by the competent authority as per Rule 12 of R&P Rules:
