Eligibility Criteria :

1. Candidates must be permanent resident of India.
2. Applicants should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 class or its equivalent. The applicant will be eligible for appointment ot the post of Forest Guard only if has passed 10th class examination form any school or institute locate in Himachal Pradesh. This condition will not applicable to the bonafide of Himachal Pradesh.
3. Name of Applicant must be registered with any Employment Exchange/ Sub-Employment office in Himachal Pradesh. And must have a valid registration certificate period has expired before applying. His/ Her application form will be canceled and he/she will not be eligible for the post.

Age Limit : (HP Forest Guard Recruitment 2021)

Age of candidate should be Between 18 to 30 years as on 1st January 2021. (There is relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit for SC/ST/OBC.

Salary for HP Forest Guard

Pay Scale Rs. 5910+2000 (GP)+150 % of Grade Pay

Minimum Physical Standard :

There will be a relaxation of 5 cms in height and 4 cms in chest measurement for Schedule Tribe applicants

Selection Process (HP Forest Guard 2021)

Physical Efficiency Test :

The prescribed proficiency test of those candidate who fulfill the minimum physical standards will be done as per the table.

For Male Candidates :

800 Meters Race	2 Minutes 45 Seconds (No additional chance will be given)
High Jump	1.25 Meters ( Maximum Three Chances will be given)
Long Jump	4 Meters ( Maximum Three Chances will be given)

For Female Canidates

Written Test :

Only those candidates who qualify in all the tests of physical efficiency will be provided an opportunity to appear in the written test. They will be informed about the date and venue of the written test after the physical efficiency test. The written examination will be conducted on the same day in all the forest circles of the state.

Evaluation :

The candidates will be called for evaluation as per the merit list based on the results of the written test, which will be communicated to them separately

3. Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe/ Other Backward Classes and IRDP/ Antodaya Certificate.
4. Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

6. Candidates must bring 2 latest passport size photographs with them when they are called for Physical Efficiency Test.
