GB Pant NIHE Kullu Field Assistant & Project Fellow Recruitment 2024
Walk-In-Interview will be conducted for following purely project based temporary positions under R&D project at the Himachal Regional Center of the Institute. Desirous candidates having adequate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic records and experience may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 19/01/2024 (11:00AM onwards). Candidates appearing for Walk-In-Interview must bring all original certificates (with one set of self attested xerox copies), testimonials, experience, publications, etc. along with their Application Form (as per ANNEXURE-I). No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview.

Essential Qualification :
| Field Researcher | First class Master Degree in Environmental Science/Botany/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Forestry from a recognized University Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in high altitude areas of the state having experience in the R&D based projects. |
| Project Fellow | First class Master Degree in Environmental Science/Botany/ Forestry from a recognized University with at least 2 years research experience or PhD Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in high altitude areas of the state having experience in the R&D based projects and good writing skills. |
| Field Assistant cum Data Operator | Bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized University with at least 2 years’ experience or 10-2 with at least 5 year experience Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate having work experience in high altitude areas of the state having experience in the R&D based projects. |

Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
General Instructions:
- Aspiring candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria may walk-in 19.01.2024 at 10.00 AM.
- Minimum requirements of qualifications and/or experience can be relaxed in respect of exceptionally outstanding candidates. The Institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions, to fill up or not to fill up any or all the posts or to shortlist and select the candidates in any suitable position depending upon the qualification and experience required for the said post.
- Candidates must bring original documents pertaining to their educational qualifications & experience along with one set of photocopies. The experience will not be considered without an experience certificate.
- The selected candidate(s) are expected to join immediately.
- The selected candidate is liable to be posted anywhere in India.
- No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the Interview.
- Institute reserve the right to disengage the manpower at any time without assigning any reasons thereof.
- The engagement is purely temporary in nature.
- In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selection, the decision of the Institute in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, and the conduct of examination/ interview will be final and no query or correspondence will be entertained in this connection from any individual or his/her agency.
- Canvassing in any form will be treated as disqualification.
