Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni (Solan) Department of Business Management, College of Horticulture invited Applications on the prescribed form for filling-up of the temporary post of Research Associate (RA) under the project entitled “Agricultural Start-up Ecosystem and Challenges: A Study in North India” (HGI-218-23) operative in the Department of Business Management, COH, UHF, Nauni (Solan) being a short term empirical research project of six months duration (likely to be completed by 15th March 2024).

Essential Qualification :

Essential:

Post graduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks. NET/SLET/M.Phil/Ph.D)

Desirable:

Prior experience of primary data collection. Acquaintance with Data Analysis with SPSS/Excel.

Salary :

Rs. 39000/- per month (fixed).

Application Fee :

The processing fee is Rs. 450/- for General category candidates & Rs 110/- for Reserved Category Candidates (Enclose self-attested copy of the category certificate, if applicable).

Application will be considered valid only, if it is accompanied with prescribed processing fee in the shape of IPO/Bank Draft payable at State Bank of India/UCO Bank, Nauni, Solan 173 230 (HP) in favour of the Comptroller, Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni-Solan.

How To Apply :

The application, complete in all respects, should reach to the Professor & Head, Department of Business Management, College of Horticulture, Dr YSPUHF, Nauni, Solan (HP)- 173 230 by 05:00 PM as on 19-10-2023 (Thursday) and the interview will be held on 21″ October 2023 (Saturday) at 11:00 AM in the office chamber of the Professor & Head, Department of Business Management, COH, UHF, Nauni (Solan).

Terms & Conditions:

The application must be citizen of India
The upper age limit for the above temporary post is as under 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserve category candidates as per Govt of India norms.
The selected candidates, who wishes to tender his/her resignation, shall be required to serve one month’s notice prior to resignation or to deposit one month’s salary
Applicant already working in the project should send their application through proper channel.
The undersigned reserves the right not to fill-up the post, without assigning any reason.
No separate letter for the interview will be issued and the candidate will have to appear for interview at their own expenses on the date of interview as mentioned above
The candidate must bring all the original testimonials at the time of interview.
Though every care has been taken yet any mistake crept inadvertently is subject to correction.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
The University will not accept as valid any arguments or plea such as breakdown, e-mail communication, illness etc. for not attending the interview and verification of documents where required
Incomplete application or those received after last date will not be entertained and will be rejected straight way
The candidates having marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA should attach approved conversion table/formula along with the application form.
