Central University of Himachal Pradesh Shahpur, Kangra invited applications for filling up the post of Field Investigator under the Niti Aayog sponsored major research project entitled “The studies in five thematic areas by two Consortium of Central Universities in Himalayan States.”

Name of Post	Thematic Area
1. Field Investigator	Enumeration and valuation of the economic impact of Female Labour in the Hills
2. Field INvestigator	Developing responsible tourism that would help in diversifying economies, providing alternative livelihood opportunities for locals and conserving and managing in the scared and cultural landscape of Himalaya
3. Field Investigator	Agro-ecology in Himalayan states with special emphasis on marketing
4. Field Investigator	Opportunities of livelihood to check Migration from Hills
5. Field Investigator	Water Conservation and Harvesting

Essential Qualification :

Field Investigator (Sr. No. 1. &2.) : Post Graduation Degree in Social Sciences with minimum 55% marks.

Field Investigator (Sr. No. 3 & 4) : Post Graduation Degree in Biological and Allied Sciences with minimum 55 % marks.

Field Investigator (Sr. No. 5.) : Post Graduation Degree in Environmental Science with minimum 55 % marks.

1. Detailed CV giving complete permanent and correspondence address including valid Mobile No. and email address, details of educational qualifications ( from 10th onwards)
2. A single merged PDF file of the self-attested scanned copies of mark sheets, proof of date of birth, proof of work experience and the UGC-NET/SLET award certificates.

Process of Selection :

The selection shall be made on the basis merit. The eligible candidates are required to appear for interview before the duly constituted Selection Committee. The scheduled date, time and mode of interview shall be intimated to the eligible candidates through phone/e-mail.
