Atal Medical and Research University HP invited online Recruitment Applications (ORA*) are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Community Health Officer, Staff Nurse, Female Health Worker and Laboratory Technician on Contract basis in the National Health Mission, H.P. The ORA shall be available on Atal Medical and Research University, HP website www.amruhp.ac.in up to 2nd October, 2022 till 11:59 P.M. (IST), thereafter link will be disabled.

Educational Qualification :

Community Health Officer :

  1. Any candidate who has successfully completed B.Sc. Nursing/Post-basic B.Sc. Nursing degree from recognized institution.
  2. Should be registered with the State Nursing Council of Himachal Pradesh (HPNRC)

Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.

Note: A candidate shall be eligible for appointment of this post, if, he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Staff Nurse :

  1. 10+2 preferably with Science from a recognized Board of School Education.
  2. Qualified “A” Grade Nurse (Diploma in GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized. University/Institution
  3. Must be registered with the HP State Nursing Council.

Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.

Note: A candidate shall be eligible for appointment of this post, if, he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Female Health Worker :

  1. Should be a matric with Science/Hr. Secondary Part-1 Pass or its equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
  2. Should possess on e and half years Training Certificate as MPW from a Govt. recognized Training Institution.
  3. Must be registered with the HP State Nursing Council.

Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.

Note: A candidate shall be eligible for appointment of this post, if, she has passed Matriculation/Hr. Secondary Part-1 Pass from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Laboratory Technician :

1. 10+2 in Science with  Degree

2. B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology/B.Sc. Medical Technology Laboratory/B.Sc. Medical  Technology (Laboratory)/B.Sc. Medical laboratory Sciences/B.Sc. in  Medical Laboratory Technology (Lateral) from a  recognized University or an institution affiliated to a  recognized University.

3. Must be registered with HP Paramedical Council.

Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in Himachal Pradesh.

Note: A candidate shall be eligible for appointment of this post, if, he/she has passed Matriculation and 10+2 from any School/institution situated within Himachal Pradesh.
Provided this condition shall not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.

Community Health OfficerRs. 25000/-
Staff NurseRs. 21800/-

Selection Criteria :

  1. Selection for the posts on contract appointment will be made on the basis of written test. The Standard/syllabus of the written test will be determined by the University. The Written Test shall comprise of 100 MCQ questions for 100 marks. The duration of the written test shall be 90 minutes. There will be 0.25 marks negative marking for each incorrect attempt. For subject wise distribution of MCQ’s visit University website.
  2. The written test will be conducted at Shimla, Mandi, Hamirpur, Dharamshala and Kangra. Number of centers may increase or decrease, depending upon the number of applicants. The center requested by the candidate may not be allotted.
  3. Answer keys will be displayed on the University website after the written test on 9th October, 2022. Candidates will be allowed to send their queries regarding answer keys up to 05:00 PM on 10th October, 2022 and thereafter final answer key will be displayed on 11th October, 2022 on the University website.
  4. Category wise merit list of all appeared candidates shall be displayed on the University website.
  5. If the candidates having equal score in the written test, then a candidate who is senior in age will be placed above the candidate junior in age.
  6. Category wise merit list of selected candidates will be submitted to the MD,
    National Health Mission, HP.
  1. The eligibility of candidate(s) called for the evaluation will be determined on the basis of original documents produced on the day of evaluation and Department will not be responsible if any candidate is rejected at that stage or at the time of
    verification by the appointing authority. As such, the applications of the candidates shall be purely provisional.
  2. Summoning of the candidate(s) for evaluation/selection; conveys no assurance whatsoever that they will be selected or recommended. Appointment orders to the selected candidate(s) will be issued by the appropriate appointing authority.
  3. Disputes, if any, shall be subject to Court jurisdiction at Shimla.
