Essential Qualifications :

Should have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board of School Education/Institution.

Desirable Qualification:

Knowledge of customs, manner and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Special experience required :

Keeping in view the nature of work in Advocate General’s Office, experience of 5 years is required from candidates in handling office files, maintaining records and knowledge of Court’s working.

Higher Education :

Candidates with higher educational qualifications will not be given preference.Non disclosure of higher educational qualifications by candidates will automatically invite disqualification and if selected /appointed then termination.

Date of Interview :

Candidates are required to appear in the viva-voice to be held on 1st and 2nd March, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in the office of Advocate General, State of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-171001 and no call letter shall be issued for viva-voice.

Salary :

Age Limit :

No person shall be eligible for engagement on daily wage basis if he is below 18 years of age as on the day of January of the Recruitment Year i.e. 2025 and not more than 45 year of age on that date. However, in the case of the candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes or who is an ex-serviceman upper age limit shall be the same as may from time to time, be prescribed by the State Government for engagement of daily wages

The Application should be reach in the office of Advocate General, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla-171001 on or before 05.02.2025. However, for the candidate residing in Lahaul & Spiti, District Kinnaur District, Pangi and Bharmour Sub Division of Chamba District and Dodra Kwar Sub Division of Shimla District of Himachal Pradesh, the last date for receipt of the applications is 21.02.2025.
