Office of the Deputy Commissioner invited Applications for re-engaging up of 23 vacant posts of Patwari & 25 vacant posts of Kanungos on remuneration basis under the establishment of Deputy Commissioner, Kangra at Dharamshala from amongest the retired Patwaris/Kanungos officials. The application form along with all relevant/supporting documents/certificates should reach in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kangra at Dharamshala on or before 17-08-2024. The applications received after the last date or found incomplete will be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

Essential Qualification :

They must have rendered minimum 5 years of services in any wing of revenue Department of HP and having no departmental/disciplinary proceeding pending against them.

Age Limit :

The retirees to be engaged should not be more than 65 years of age on the date of advertisement of vacancies.

Salary :

Rs. 30,000/- per month for retired Kanungos. Rs. 25,000/- per month for retired Patwaris.

Place of Posting :

Against the Vacant Patwar/Kanungo Circles in District Kangra H.P.

The retired Kanungos/Patwaris will be re-engaged for 03 months in the first instance. It may be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate & the requirement.
They must have rendered minimum 5 years of service in any wing of revenue Department of HP before their superannuation and having no departmental /disciplinary proceedings pending against them.
They will be considered for respective post on the recommendations of the committee.
The retires to be engaged should not be more than 65 years of age on the date of advertisement of vacancies.
If the applications exceed the number of vacancies advertised, the candidates who are junior in age will be given preference for engagement against such post.
The period of engagement will not be counted for any benefits whatsoever in the service rendered by them before their superannuation.
The service of such retired persons will be purely on temporary basis and is liable to be terminated at any time during the period of such re-engagement.
The persons to be engaged will be entitled for one day casual leave after putting one month service. No leave of any other kind will be admissible to him/her.
Unauthorized absence from the duty without the approval of the controlling officer shall automatically lead to the termination of such engagement. They will not be entitled for emoluments for the period of absence from duty.
The applicants will have to procure certificate of his/her fitness from a Government Hospital.
They will be entitled to TA/DA if required to go on tour in connection with his/her official duties at the same rate as applicable to regular counterpart officials at the minimum of pay scale.
He/she shall continue to avail medical facilities and re-imbursement of Medical Expenses as admissible to him/her as a retiree.
The monthly remuneration shall be paid to the re-engaged retirees on the basis of performance/work conduct certificate, which shall also include the details of cases dealt/disposed of by him/her. This certificate shall be issued by the concerned Controlling Authority to the re-engaged retiree at the end of the month.
After clearance of pendency of revenue cases, the services of retired persons shall be terminated.
The promotion of existing Patwaris/Kanungos shall not be affected on account of re-engagement of above retirees & the posts occupied by them will be considered vacant for the purpose of promotion.
Their re-engagement is liable to be terminated on availability of regular officials.

Documents to be attached with application form:-

Proof of age.
Proof of 5 years of service in any wing of Revenue Department of H.P. before his retirement.
Medical fitness Certificate from Government hospital.
Character Certificate.
Certificate to the effect that there is no disciplinary/departmental/criminal proceedings is pending against him, be the issued by the concerning controlling officer where he has posted during his/her last posting before retirement.
