Educational Qualifications :

| Scientist-B (Mechanical) | (i) Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized University/ Institute; and (ii) One year practical experience in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurement/ metrology in a recognised Laboratory/ Institute. OR (B) (i) Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and (ii) Two years’ practical experience in the testing/ calibration of engineering materials/ products or in precision measurements/ metrology in a recognized Laboratory/ Institute. |
| Anthropologist | Master’s degree in Anthropology of a recognized University with more than fifty percent papers in Physical Anthropology or Biological Anthropology in final year examination. |
