Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited invited Applications for engagement of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as amended from time to time in the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam PO, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District – 627106, Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit :

Not less than 14 years on closing date of application.
Maximum age limit is 24 years for General Candidates and EWS Candidates.

Standard of Physical Fitness:

Physical fitness of the candidates will be ascertained as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992. However, following are the minimum standards that the candidates should satisfy :

candidates should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease, which is likely to be aggravated by service or is likely to render him until unfit for service or to endanger of health of the public. He should also be free from evidence of Tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.

The candidates should satisfy the following minimum physical standards namely:
a) Height : 137 Cms.
b) Weight : 25.4 Kgs.
c) Chest measurement : Chest expansion should not be less than 3.8 cms. irrespective of size of chest.

Vision :There should be no evidence of any morbid condition of either eye of the lids of either eye which may be liable to risk or aggravation or recurrence.

Selection Process :

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in ITI Course.
The following priority will be adopted for selection of Apprentices:

Land Losers
Local i.e from Radhapuram Taluk.
Tirunelveli District
Tamilnadu
Others

In case of tie, the candidate who born earlier will be preferred.

Technical Qualification certificate (ITI All Semester Mark sheet / NTC)
Date of Birth certificate (10th Class Certificate / Certificate issued by municipality etc.)
